Impressive Snow Depths in Sierra at TahoeNorthern California resorts are not far behind European resorts in terms of snow depths this season. Sierra at Tahoe is typical and it already reports an impressive 478cm (188 inches) of snow on the highest slopes. Although freezing levels are fairly high for the next few days, another storm system is forecast to deliver colder temperatures and the next big dump of snow from Monday night through to Thursday.
