We hope you've found our free snow alert system useful. Most of our services are free, but you can get much more from Snow-Forecast.com if you sign up to become a full member.

The price of membership starts from just £4 / €4.90 / $US6.15 for 1 month (unchanged from last year) and we think it's better value than ever. In addition to full access to longer range forecasts and more weather detail, members see an almost ad-free version of the site plus a big list of member benefits (including generous discounts on snow equipment) that can be viewed here. 

You can get 3 months free membership (or add three months to your initial choice of package) by adding a 2013 snow calendar or newly designed quality t-shirt produced in partnership with the popular Norwegian clothing brand Skogstad.

We've been working hard since last season to improve the site. Thanks to everyone who sent feedback and suggestions along the way. We hope we've delivered most of the things you were looking for - here are just a few highlights:

• Greatly improved dynamic weather maps that also show current snow conditions. The maps are now integrated with Skyscanner so you are just a few clicks away from booking a flight straight to the best snow.

• A global Snow Overview page that combines the past week's snow roundup, current picks of the best reported conditions and the places in the coming week where the best snow is forecast.

• Detailed Snow Country pages to help you decide where to go for the best conditions, complete with a travel guide plus a resort by resort overview of snow conditions and forecasts e.g. Resorts in France.

• Improved ski resort guide pages and even more resorts covered (2900). More snow reports than ever before, (on average, more than 2000 reports per day, plus up to the minute twitter reports from our extensive eyeball reporter network).

• The best snow photo gallery on the web - please keep sending in those fantastic images and be in to win regular prizes.
  

• We moved everything onto incredibly fast web servers making the site super-responsive and by upgrading our processors our forecasts are more timely too.

For mobile users of Snow-Forecast.com, we've just released a completely new iPhone app (get it here) that now lets you unlock member features with your online login. We've not forgotten about Android users, and an app is due for launch in January 2013.

Even if you don't sign up this season, we'd sincerely like to thank you for your ongoing support. In the 12 years since snow-forecast began, income from subscriptions and carefully targeted advertising has enabled our continued development and maintained our position as the world's favorite provider of snow forecasts and reports.
